Arlington Heights Issues Reminders: Holiday Refuse Schedule And Collection Of Christmas Trees
Collection services during the week of Dec. 21 will be affected.
Due to Christmas on Friday, December 25, 2020 collection services will change for single-family residence served by Groot, the Village of Arlington Heights’ service provider.
Collection services during the week of December 21 - 25 will change to the following:

- If your primary day is Monday – your garbage and recycling will be picked up on Monday, December 21.
- If your primary day is Tuesday – your garbage and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, December 22.
- If your primary day is Thursday – your garbage and recycling will be picked up on Thursday, December 24.
- If your primary day is Friday – your garbage and recycling will be picked up on Saturday, December 26.
Christmas Trees
Christmas trees will be collected on your primary solid waste collection day from January 2 through January 14. Landscape waste stickers are not necessary for Christmas trees. Plastic bags must be removed from Christmas trees.
