Self-taught improvisational cellist Drew Wiegman will be performing live on Saturday, May 23rd, and Sunday, May 24th, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the 37th Annual Prairie Arts Festival, held on the beautiful grounds of the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts in Schaumburg, IL.
Join us for a fantastic Memorial Day Weekend outdoors, surrounded by over 100 painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelers, potters, and artists of every sort. This is the perfect opportunity to explore incredible fine art and crafts while enjoying a vibrant festival atmosphere.
The Memorial Day weekend celebration historically draws 5,000-10,000 patrons with most festival attendees from Schaumburg and the surrounding communities. Our Memorial Day weekend celebration is rooted in strong support and patronage from residents of Schaumburg and the surrounding suburbs. We're delighted to also welcome attendees from across the greater Chicagoland area and beyond state lines, making the Prairie Arts Festival the destination to be for Memorial Day weekend.
While you browse, enjoy Drew's signature cinematic cello sound — a one-of-a-kind improvisational experience that brings warmth and energy everywhere he plays.
