Arlington Heights Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Child: Police
The 29-year-old allegedly traveled to meet with the child to engage in sexual acts on a number of occasions, according to police.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A 29-year-old Arlington Heights man is accused of traveling to meet and sexually assault a child on a number of occasions, according to police. Mark Brusilovsky, of the 2000 block of Evergreen Avenue, is being charged with four felonies — aggravated criminal sexual abuse, traveling to meet a child, indecent solicitation of a child, and grooming. Police said he was arrested Tuesday.
Cash bond was set at $45,000 for Brusilovsky Wednesday in court. He is due back in court on June 23.
Following an extensive investigation, Arlington Heights detectives said they followed a reported criminal sexual assault brought on behalf of a juvenile victim. An initial report revealed that Brusilovsky allegedly met the victim through mutual acquaintances. Police said Brusilovsky, who was aware of the victim's age, began contacting them through a series of social media messages with the intent to solicit and lure the victim to perform acts of sexual conduct.

Brusilovsky subsequently met the victim on a number of occasions. During these meet-ups, he is alleged to have committed sexual acts with the victim while continuously encouraging them to participate in this conduct.
After his arrest, Brusilovsky reportedly said during an interview he knew the juvenile’s age and
corroborated the course of his actions as revealed by the investigation.
