Autumn Harvest October 7 with Arlington Heights Fire Department

Arlington Heights October 7 Autumn Harvest event includes Fire Department Open House!


Celebrate a fall day with us at Autumn Harvest on Saturday, October 7 in North School Park, from 11 – 3 p.m.! The Fire Department will also be there with equipment displays, demos and Sparky Fire Dog to recognize Fire Prevention Week.

When you get to the park, be sure to enter the Build-a-Scarecrow competition which begins at 11 a.m. We will supply all you need for this fun activity your family or group of friends. Also enjoy a hayride, kids‘ crafts, the petting zoo and live entertainment, check out the Memorial Library bookmobile, or stop by the Arlington Heights Fire Department displays and demonstrations to learn more about our Fire Department and other safety tips in recognition of Fire Prevention Week!

This year's Fire Prevention Week theme is “Every Second Counts: Plan 2 Ways Out.” The interesting things you see showcased at a Fire Department Open House will be at Autumn Harvest, such as the safety house, games, fire safety information, equipment demonstrations and button creations!

Besides the Fire Department displays, Autumn Harvest will include food and music throughout the day. Entertainment includes local school bands, a performance from Vibe, a dance group from the Arlington Heights Park District, and a magic show.
