Business Owner Accused Of Sexual Abuse, Battery In Schaumburg

Police are investigating the report of an incident at Tea Leaf Market in the Woodfield Mall.

SCHAUMBURG, IL — The owner of a store in the Woodfield Mall is being accused of felony sexual abuse following an investigation by the Schaumburg Police Department. Suhail Fakhouri, 58, of the 600 block of Rosedale Road, Roselle, is accused of sexual abuse (class 4 felony) and battery (misdemeanor), and was arrested Sept. 15. He is the owner of Tea Leaf Market.

According to police, an investigation into the incident, which reportedly occurred at Tea Leaf Market, began Aug. 21.

Fakhouri was transported to the 3rd District Cook County Courthouse following his Sept. 15 arrest in Rolling Meadows. His bond was set at $200,000.
