After a successful Warrenville debut, the Austin-based restaurant continues its Chicagoland expansion

Chuy's, the Tex-Mex chain that got its start in Austin 35 years ago, opened its second Chicagoland location in Schaumburg today.

The restaurant, located at 1701 E. Golf Rd., serves "fresh-never-frozen" authentic Tex-Mex dishes from South Texas, New Mexico and Mexican border towns. Popular menu items include the "Big as Yo' Face Burrito" and the "Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom Enchiladas."

Chuy’s Schaumburg will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, opening at 11 a.m. On weekdays from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., the restaurant will feature a Fully-Loaded Nacho Car which is a build-your-own nacho station that includes complimentary chips, salsa, queso and ground sirloin.
