College Credits: Arlington Heights Students Graduate From RIT

Area students from Arlington Heights are doing amazing things at colleges and universities across the United States.

Local Students Graduate From Rochester Institute Of Technology

Rochester Institute of Technology conferred more than 4,300 degrees at all of its campuses in the 2021-2022 academic year. The following local residents received degrees:

  • Rebecca Reich, of Arlington Heights, received a BS in computer engineering.
  • Vivian Trettenbach, of Arlington Heights, received an MST in visual arts - all grades.

Augustana College announces 2022 commencement participants

Augustana College held its commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 22. U.S. Senator Dick Durbin delivered the address. The graduating class totaled 508. Among the local graduates who participated in the ceremony were:

  • Samantha Goodmanson, from Arlington Heights, was recognized with a major(s) in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Megan McLaughlin, from Arlington Heights, was recognized with a major(s) in Elementary Education.
  • Nicholas Teng, from Arlington Heights, was recognized with a major(s) in Psychology and Spanish for Professional Use.

Szydlo Makes Dean's List At Marquette University

Eric Szydlo, of Arlington Heights, was named to the dean's list for the spring 2022 semester at Marquette University. Opus College of Engineering students who finish the semester with a 3.5 or better grade point average while completing 12 or more graded semester hours receive this honor.

Millikin University Spring 2022 Dean's List Announced

Millikin University is pleased to announce the names of the outstanding undergraduates who have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester. Students who attempt 12 graded credits during a fall or spring semester and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher earn Dean's List honors. Local students include:

  • Christopher Bruno, of Arlington Heights
  • Jack Harmon, of Arlington Heights
  • Julia Mlynowski, of Arlington Heights
