More than 2,610 undergraduate students have qualified for the Spring 2020 College of Arts and Sciences Dean's List at the University of Kentucky. Among them are:

Sierra Shirley, of Arlington Heights, who is majoring in psychology.

Katie Meikel, of Arlington Heights, who is majoring in biology.

Students on the Dean's List earned 12 or more credit hours as letter grades with a minimum 3.60 GPA for the semester. Congratulations to these high-achieving students who put in the time and effort to meet the academic requirements for the Dean's List.

Pekar graduates from Springfield College

Sarah Pekar, of Arlington Heights, has earned a Master of Education degree in Education from Springfield College for studies completed in 2020.

Springfield College saluted the Class of 2020 with an official Class of 2020 web page that included a special message from Springfield College President Mary-Beth Cooper.

Local residents make dean's list at University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Nearly 7,500 students have been named to the Deans' List for the spring semester of the 2019-20 academic year. Qualification for the Deans' List varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center. Listed below are the minimum requirements for each entity and the name of its respective dean or director. All qualifying grade-point averages are based on a four-point scale and a minimum number of graded semester hours, which varied by college during the spring semester. Students can be on the Dean's List for more than one college.

Arlington Heights: Madeleine Grant, junior, Dean's Lists, College of Arts and Sciences and College of Journalism and Mass Communications, French and journalism.
Arlington Heights: Alexis Kay Gravagna, freshman, Dean's List, College of Arts and Sciences, biochemistry.
Arlington Heights: Madison Lyn Gutterman, freshman, Dean's List, College of Education and Human Sciences, biology and physics.
Arlington Heights: Erik Thomas Vinopal, sophomore, Dean's List, College of Business, finance.
