Des Plaines Man Charged With Attempted Kidnapping, Robbery: Chicago PD

CHICAGO — A Des Plaines is in custody and being charged with two felonies after an armed robbery and attempted kidnapping Monday in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood. Raymond Marshall, 34, of the 0-100 block of N. Warrington Road, is accused of felony armed robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted kidnapping, and was arrested Monday in the 700 block of W. 35th Street.
Marshall was due in court Wednesday for a detention hearing.
According to police, at around 5:20 p.m., Marshall battered and placed restraints on a 35-year-old man before taking his property while armed with a dangerous weapon in the 3600 block of S. Morgan Street.
