Grease Fire Forces McDonald's To Close for Clean Up
The McDonald's on Kirchoff Road in Rolling Meadows will be temporarily closed following the Thursday fire, fire officials said.
ROLLING MEADOWS, IL — A McDonald's on Kirchoff Road in downtown Rolling Meadows has been temporarily closed following a small grease fire Thursday, the Daily Herald reports. The restaurant will remain closed as officials work to clean up following the blaze and until the health department has inspected the building, fire officials said.
A phone call made to the restaurant just before 8 a.m. on Friday was not answered. It's unclear if the restaurant has reopened.
