Harmony Fest Featuring Taste of Arlington Heights Returns

The two-day festival will be held on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 in Harmony Park and downtown Arlington Heights.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — If you haven't had a chance to enjoy the 2022 Arlington Alfresco season yet, an upcoming event might be the perfect opportunity, along with a number of other scheduled activities. Harmony Fest, featuring the Taste of Arlington Heights, returns to Harmony Park, 7 S. Vail Ave., and downtown Arlington Heights from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, and 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1.

Harmony Fest includes the Taste of Arlington Heights that will offer food, drinks, and more from 60 local vendors in booths on Vail Avenue and Campbell Street, according to a news release. Harmony Fest marks the end of the 2022 Arlington Alfresco season.

Music will end at 11 p.m. both nights, according to organizers.

The Nak4 Orthodontics Kids' Zone will provide fun and free activities on from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. The Kids’ Zone will be located on W. Campbell near the Metropolis Performance Art Centre, and will include face painters, balloon twisters, inflatable games, mini-golf, and giveaways.

Guests are encouraged to plan ahead for parking by utilizing one of the Village’s nine nearby parking lots, including three parking garages. The Vail Street garage will be accessible from Sigwalt Street and is anticipated to experience congestion, according to the news release.

Alternative free parking options include the underground parking garage on Evergreen Avenue, the commuter parking lots located north and south of the train tracks, the parking garage at Village Hall, and the parking lot on Sigwalt Street, just south of Village Hall. Parking in private lots is not allowed and violators are subject to being towed.
