Labor Day Changes Arlington Heights Trash Pickup

From The City of Arlington Heights: Due to Labor Day on Monday, September 4th, collection services for refuse and recycling will change for single-family residences served by GROOT, the Village of Arlington Heights' service provider.

During the week of September 4th – 8th if your primary collection day is:

Monday (north of Oakton and west of Arlington Heights Rd) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Tuesday, September 5th (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Friday, September 8th)

Tuesday (south of Oakton and west of Arlington Heights Rd) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Wednesday, September 6th (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Saturday, September 9th)

Thursday (north of Oakton and east of Arlington Heights Rd) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Friday, September 8th (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Tuesday, September 5th)

Friday (south of Oakton and east of Arlington Heights Rd) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Saturday, September 9th (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Wednesday, September 6th)
