Missing Man Located, Provided Resources: Village Of Schaumburg

The 42-year-old, who had made suicidal statements, was last seen walking from his home Friday morning in Schaumburg.

SCHAUMBURG, IL — At 5 p.m. Friday, the Village of Schaumburg said an endangered man who had went missing in the morning has been located and was provided resources.

"The Schaumburg Police Department would like to thank the public for its assistance during today's investigation," the Village said in a social media post.

Throughout the day, police were actively searching for the 42-year-old who had made suicidal statements, and was last seen walking from his home Friday morning in Schaumburg.

"There is a very large police presence searching multiple areas and using all available resources to locate [the man]," the Village of Schaumburg said in a social media post.

Police said a missing person automated message was sent out through Northwest Central Dispatch.
