According to Henneman, “The pandemic, and then heading right into winter (our slow season), has put us in a critical spot financially. We are struggling to keep our doors open.”
GetBurbed has had a long standing business relationship with Berry Yo, co-hosting events like Storytime with Santa and GetBurbed Bites. In an effort to jumpstart a real financial coup for Berry Yo, managing partner Holly Connors stepped in to organize a Fill the Berry Yo Bowl! promotion.

“We love Sheila and she is a strong community supporter in Arlington Heights. Berry Yo would be greatly missed if they are unable to recover. We want to do everything in our power to ensure all of our local businesses survive and thrive. The hope is that this promotion will drive more business to downtown Arlington Heights in general, benefitting other establishments as well,” Connors said.
