ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Jacqueline A. Thelman, 25, of the 300 block of Landau Lane, Wheeling, is accused of two counts of battery, and was arrested at 11:58 p.m. Feb. 12 in the 900 block of W Kirchoff. She was released on bond and assigned a court date of March 23.

  • Daniel A. Zunga, 35, of the 100 block of Grand Avenue, Palatine, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, driving on a revoked/suspended license, and was arrested at 12:44 a.m. Feb. 12 in the 400 block of W Lake Cook Road. He was taken to court and assigned a court date of March 2.
  • Yunior Vera, 22, of the 600 block of Silver Creek Drive, Joliet, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, and was arrested at8:38 p.m. Feb. 13 in the 200 block of N Arlington Heights. Vera was released on bond and assigned a court date of March 23.
  • Raymond A. Stell, 50, of the 1700 block of W Rusty Drive, Mount Prospect, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, no driver's license, driving on a suspended/revoked license, cancelled/revoked/suspended registration, and was arrested at 3:58 Feb. 14 in the 500 block of E Golf Road. He was taken to court and assigned a court date of March 10.
  • Danielle Lopez, 29, of the 1300 block of Wisconsin Avenue, Berwyn, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 1:33 a.m. Feb. 18 in the 200 block of E Orchard Street. She was released on bond and assigned a court date of March 16.
  • Stephanie D. Chaney-Black, 36, of the 1000 block of Buccameer Drive, Schaumburg, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended/revoked license, and was arrested at 12:58 a.m. Feb. 19 at Algonquin and Kennicott. She was released on bond and assigned a court date of March 23.
  • Zavala Omar Martinez, 33, of the 500 block of W Palatine Road, Palatine, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal possession/transport of liquor by a driver, and was arrested at 3:38 a.m. Feb. 19 at S Wilke Road and W Campbell Street. Martinez was released on bond and assigned a court date of March 16.

DRIVING ON SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

Michael Miller, 42, of the 3700 block of W Fullerton Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving on a suspended/revoked license, not wearing a seat belt, no seat belts, and was arrested at 8:05 p.m. Feb. 18 in the 0-100 block of W Algonquin Road. He was bonded out and assigned a court date of March 31.

INCIDENTS

THEFT

  • A resident in the 200 block of N Dunton reported that between Dec. 21, 2020 and Feb. 6 someone unlawfully entered their storage locker in a communal garage on apartment complex property and took items belonging to them. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $3,000.
  • A resident in the 600 block of W Rand Road called police to report that between noon and 10:37 p.m. Feb. 12 someone entered their apartment unit by unknown means. There were no signs of forced entry into the unit. A television belonging to the resident was taken from the unit.
  • A customer at LA Fitness, 345 E Palatine Road, reported that between 10:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Feb. 13 someone entered their locker in the public locker room at the gym and took items. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $200.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Two males damaged a stop sign by using paint to graffiti the sign at 12:54 p.m. Feb. 11 at Evergreen Avenue and Eastman Street. The cost to repair the damage is unknown.
