Man Hiding In Car Points Gun At Woman: Arlington Heights PD Blotter
Police said the woman was returning to her car at a parking garage and saw the man, who threatened to shoot her, inside of it.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. - Tres R. Aurland, 30, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, improper lane usage, improper turn signal, and was arrested at 2:59 a.m. March 21, at N. Wilke and W. Rand roads. Bond was set at $1,000 and a court date of May 1 was assigned.
- Larry C. Bradley, 36, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, speeding (26-34 mph over the speed limit), and was arrested at 4:19 a.m. March 19, at E. Palatine Road and N. Winston Drive. Bond was set at $1,000 and a court date of May 1 was assigned.
- Monica J. Coleman, 40, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper traffic lane usage, and was arrested at 1:17 a.m. March 18, at Central Road and Busse Road. Bond was set at $1,000 and a court date of April 5 was assigned.
- Zakhar Krainik, 35, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 8:43 p.m. March 22, at 7-Eleven, 1418 E. Hintz Road. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of April 17 was assigned.
- John S. Sarabia, 23, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 7 a.m. March 18, at N. Gibbons Avenue and E. Oakton Street. Bond was set at $1,000 and a court date of May 1 was assigned.
DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE
Rachel L. Castellanos, 47, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating a vehicle with a revoked registration, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 12:10 p.m. March 23, in the 1700 block of E. Hintz Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of April 21 was assigned.

RETAIL THEFT
- Richard S. Decesare, 33, is accused of retail theft, criminal trespass to land, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 7:56 a.m. March 21, at Mariano's, 802 E. Northwest Highway. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of April 24 was assigned.
- Carlton E. Ferguson, 52, is accused of two counts of retail theft, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 3:45 p.m. March 21, at Lowe's, 1211 Golf Road. Bond was set at $30,000 and a court date of April 14 was assigned.
FORGERY
Kristoff Di Giunto, 31, is accused of forgery, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, and was arrested at 1:59 p.m March 17 at N. Wilke Road and E. Charles Street. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of April 14 was assigned.
BATTERY
Stephen W. Parker, 62, is accused of battery, and was arrested at 11:54 a.m. March 17 in the 0-40 block of S. Evergreen Avenue. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of April 21 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
- A resident in the 700 block of N. Douglas Avenue reported that between March 11 and March 13, someone entered the residence via a broken window and stole personal items.
- A resident in the 1400 block of N. Dryden Avenue called police to report that between March 6 and March 19, someone forced entry into the house and stole personal items.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON
Two juvenile females were approached at 5:55 p.m. March 13, by an unknown person riding a bicycle, who shouted, "Come here," several times outside Keefers Pharmacy, 2012 E. Northwest Highway. The subject was described as a white male in his 20s, wearing a dark blue hat and red jacket.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS OR ACCESSORIES
- A citizen reported that between 6:40 p.m and 8:40 p.m. March 13, someone stole the catalytic converter off her 2009 Toyota, parked at the Miner Learning Center, 1101 E. Miner St. The cost to replace the catalytic converter was unknown at the time of the report.
- A resident reported that between noon and 5:30 p.m. March 14, someone stole his 2016 Hyundai from a parking lot in the 2100 block of S. Tonne Drive.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
- A woman reported at 5:25 p.m. March 14, she went to her car in the parking lot and saw an unknown male inside of it in the 2100 block of S. Tonne Drive. When the victim confronted the subject, he pointed a gun at her and threatened to shoot her. The subject exited the victim’s car and left in a black Honda or Chevrolet SUV. The subject was described as black, approximately 5-foot-8, thin build, wearing a black ski mask, and a black hoodie. Officers determined the subject was attempting to steal the victim’s car.
- Police responded at 5:35 p.m. March 14, to a loud music call at an apartment in the 2100 block of S. Tonne Drive. Officers were met by the resident, who brandished a knife and threatened the officers before retreating in to his apartment.
STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE
A resident in the 600 block of S. Pine Avenue called police to report that between March 15 and March 16, someone stole his 2013 Kia from his driveway.
BATTERY
A woman reported at 8:15 a.m. March 17, he had parked her car in a parking garage in the 0-40 block of S. Evergreen Avenue. Upon exiting, she opened the rear door to retrieve personal belongings. The victim was approached by an unknown person, who aggressively grabbed her shoulders and delivered a hard squeeze, putting the victim in great fear. The victim provided a description of the subject, who officers identified as a known homeless subject. The subject was later arrested and charged.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
A citizen reported that between 10 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. March 17, someone put superglue on the windshield of his 2015 Volkwagen while it was parked at a Planet Fitness, 50 W. Rand Road. The cost to remove the glue was unknown at the time of the report.
