Man Implies He Has Gun, Robs Store: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

- Johnny Benitez, 31, of Northfield, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, speeding more than 35 mph over the speed limit, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 10:19 a.m. Oct. 30, at N. - Erica L. Faso, 25, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 8:41 a.m. Oct. 31, in the 1700 block of E. Rand Road. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Dec. 7 was assigned.
BATTERY
- A 30-year-old woman is accused of battery, and was arrested at 12:29 p.m. Oct. 30, at Dollar Tree Store, 80 block of W. Gold Road. Bond was set at $100 and a court date of Nov. 30 was assigned.
- A 19-year-old man is accused of battery, and was arrested at 2:42 p.m. Oct. 29, in the 600 block of E. Golf Road. Bond was set at $100 and a court date of Dec. 7 was assigned.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Cecil Ray Harris, 54, is accused of possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested at 1:57 a.m. Nov. 1, at the Northwest Auto Wash & Detail Center, 900 block of W. Euclid Avenue. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of Dec. 14 was assigned.
DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE
A 31-year-old man is accused of driving on a suspended license, and was arrested at 9 p.m. Nov. 1, at W. Dundee and N. Wilke roads. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Dec. 6 was assigned.
OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH NO VALID LICENSE
A 36-year-old man is accused of operating a motor vehicle with no valid license (expired more than a year), and was arrested at 9:37 p.m. Nov. 2, at E. Falcon Drive and S. Tonne Drive. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Dec. 6 was assigned.

THEFT
A citizen reported at 10:05 a.m. Oct. 24, someone stole the front license plate off his 2022 GMC in the 1400 block of S. Arlington Heights Road. The man was wearing black pants and a black-hooded sweatshirt.
ROBBERY
An employee of 1 FairPrice Tobacco, 30 block of W. Golf Road, reported at 4:05 p.m. Oct. 24, someone entered the business, handed the clerk a note demanding money and implied he had a gun. The subject was given approximately $250 and left the scene on a bicycle. The subject was described as a man, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black face mask and a black hat.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS
- A citizen called police to report that during the overnight hours of Oct. 25, someone stole all four tires off his 2022 Honda Civic in the 2300 block of S. Goebbert Road. The cost to replace the tires was unknown at the time of the report.
- A citizen reported that between Oct. 24 and Oct. 25, someone stole all four tires off his 2020 Chevrolet Malibu in the 1600 block of N. Windsor Drive. The cost to replace the tires was unknown at the time 0f the report
