Man Kidnapped Girlfriend As She Left Arlington Heights Workplace: Cops

Justin D. Lueck, 32, is accused of hitting the victim and forcing her into his car Monday night.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — An Elk Grove Village man is accused of kidnapping his girlfriend Monday night in Arlington Heights and then knocking her to the ground following a chase when she tried to escape, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Justin D. Lueck, 32, was charged with kidnapping, unlawful restraint and domestic battery in the incident. He is being held on $150,000 bail.

According to Arlington Heights police, Lueck confronted the woman he had been dating for two years as she was leaving work at around 10:45 p.m. Monday, May 1, in the 900 block of West Algonquin Road. He struck her before forcing her into his vehicle and heading west, the report added. (Get Patch real-time email alerts for the latest Arlington Heights news. The victim eventually was able to escape Lueck and the vehicle in the 5400 block of New Wilke Road, Rolling Meadows, the report stated. But Lueck tracked down the woman, who was thrown to the ground, hitting her head and back. She then was able to make it to a business in the 1700 block of West Algonquin Road and call 911. Police later arrested Lueck at his home, the report added.
