Man Makes Sexual Advances Toward Rideshare Driver On Highway: Police
The Aurora resident was charged with multiple felonies after the rideshare driver went to Schaumburg police to report the allegations.

SCHAUMBURG, IL — An Aurora man is facing three felony charges after being accused of making sexual advances Thursday toward a female rideshare driver while the two were traveling on the interstate. Chenna R. Borra, 30, of Aurora, is accused of felony aggravated battery on a public way, criminal sexual abuse, simple battery, and was arrested.
According to Illinois State Police, the rideshare driver was driving Borra in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 88 near Interstate 355, when he began making sexual advances toward the driver. Borra was dropped off in Schaumburg, and the victim immediately went to the Schaumburg Police Department to report the allegations.
SPD was able to located Borra and detain him until state police arrived to conduct their investigation. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail pending a detention hearing.

The felony charges were approved by the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.
