Police then asked the female to step into the hallway to speak to officers, which she complied with, while Harris shut the door. During the conversation, it was learned that there was an argument that occurred between the female and Harris.

While officers were speaking, Harris was reportedly opening the door and yelling obscenities toward the female and the officers. Harris then threatened physical harm to the female if she

At one point, police said Harris exited the room and quickly approached one of the officers with clenched fists and took a fighting stance. In response, the officer placed his left hand out in a motion for Harris to stop and create distance, when Harris then struck the officer's hand.

Due to his increasing aggression and the battery, the officers took Harris into custody. Once at the police station, he reportedly refused to speak with the officer about the incident, which led to the CCSAO being called.
