Man Uses Knife in Gas Station Armed Robbery
The incident happened early Tuesday morning at a Mobil Gas Station on South Arlington Heights Road.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Police are investigating an armed robbery of a South Arlington Heights Road gas station early Tuesday morning.
According to Arlington Heights police, a man entered the Mobil Gas Station, 1880 S. Arlington Heights Road, at about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, and flashed a knife before demanding money. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash, and he fled on foot, heading westbound, police said.
The suspect is described as a black man, between 20 to 23 years old, 6 feet tall and 165 pounds. He was wearing a black mask, a black hooded sweatshirt, dark gloves and blue jeans.
