Man Wanted To Cut Off Body Parts Of Woman He Dated: Prosecutors
The 64-year-old man faces harassment charges after he allegedly stalked an Arlington Heights woman.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A 64-year-old man is accused of stalking an Arlington Heights woman he had dated, and he also allegedly threatened to cut off her body parts, according to the Chicago Tribune. William Brice was charged with harassment through an electronic device and harassing a witness. Prosecutors also said he has two pending misdemeanor harassment charges concerning a 61-year-old woman, the report added.
Brice was ordered held without bail, according to the Tribune. Judge Steven Goebel ordered Brice to have a psychiatric exam, and in the previous harassment case, Brice was banned from having contact with the victim, the report stated.
According to prosecutors, Brice had a dating relationship with the victim, but it ended in 2014 when the victim woke up alone in her bedroom and then saw a video camera on a tripod, the report stated. Although the dating relationship had ended, Brice and the victim still spoke with each other several times in 2015, the report added.

Prosecutors claim that the victim started getting voice mails and text messages from Brice in September, the report stated. In one of the text messges, Brice allegedly asked the victim to marry him and honeymoon in Paris, the report added.
In October, Brice allegedly went to the victim's home and began knocking on her door, the report stated. This incident caused the victim to file charges against Brice, the report added.

Brice finally sent violent and obscene messages to the victim Monday that described him cutting off body parts and killing her, the report stated. The victim then called police, and Brice was arrested, the report added.
