Metal Object Used To Damage Bank Window: Arlington Heights PD Blotter
The drive-up window at Parkway Bank was damaged, according to police.

Omar A. Abdelhamid, 29, is accused of criminal trespass to property, and was arrested March 19 at 7-11, 1418 E. Hintz Road. He was released and assigned a court date of April 9.
DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

- Wayne D. Bell, 60, is accused of operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, driving on a suspended license, and was arrested March 15 at Busse and Algonquin roads. He was released and assigned a court date of May 7.
- Daario Antione Paschal, 33, is accused of driving on a revoked license, driving on a suspended license, operating a vehicle with a revoked registration, and was arrested March 15 in the 1800 block of W. Surrey Park Lane. He was released and assigned a court date of April 23.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
- Jahnari S. Grier, 28, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a car accident, and was arrested March 17 at Central and S. Old Wilke roads. They were released and assigned a court date of April 17.
- Nicholas S. Jahnke, 41, is accused of DUI alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, leaving the scene of an accident, and was arrested March 15 at Kennicott and Alexandria drives. He was released and assigned a court date of March 29.
PROBATION VIOLATION
Debra A. Hartel, 68, had an in-state warrant for a probation violation, and was arrested March 19 in the 10 block of W. Orchard Street.
VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION
David Liberty, 64, is accused of violation of an order of protection, and was arrested March 21 in the 800 block of N. Dunton Avenue. A court date of March 22 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
A resident in the 600 block of W. Rand Road reported that between March 10 and March 11, someone broke the rear passenger window on her 2013 Hyundai and subsequently damaged the steering column.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
- A citizen called police to report that between March 10 and March 11, someone stole her 2018 Kia from the parking lot.
- A citizen called police to report that during the overnight hours of March 13, someone stole his 2018 gray Infiniti from a parking lot in the 2100 block of S. Tonne Drive. Glass was located on the ground, suggesting a window was broken to gain access to the vehicle.
THEFT
A citizen reported that between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. March 12, someone stole his black Trek Mountain Bike from the 40 block of S. Evergreen Avenue.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
A citizen reported at 5:08 a.m. March 14, someone damage the drive-up window with a metal object at Parkway Bank, 1408 W. Algonquin Road. The person is described as a white male, approximately 40 years of age, was wearing a black baseball cap, black/white North Face puffer jacket, red t-shirt with the word Chicago on front, blue jeans and red/black Nike gym shoes.
BURGLARY
An employee of Arlington Jewelry and Pawn, 901 W. Rand Road, reported at 1:47 a.m. March 15, someone had shattered the glass on the front door and gained entry into the business. The person attempted to gain access to jewelry display cases but was unsuccessful. The person was described as wearing black pants, gloves, a black puffy jacket, and a face covering carrying a blue gym bag.
