Woman, 92, Found Safe In Rosemont: Mount Prospect Police
Police were searching for the woman, who they thought might be in danger after her car was seen early Monday morning near Lake Michigan.
MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — A 92-year-old Mount Prospect woman, who had not been seen since early Monday morning, was located in Rosemont, according to police. Police said she was taken a local hospital and will be reunited with her family.
"Thank you for everyone's assistance in finding her," Mount Prospect police said in a social media post.
Police began searching for the woman due to her having a condition that could place her in danger. A car belonging to the woman was seen at 1:52 a.m. Monday near Lake Michigan at 10th Street and Sheridan Road in Kenilworth after she had left home to buy groceries.

Police had requested a Silver Alert for the woman from the Illinois State Police.
