Motorcyclist Killed After Collision With Semi-Truck: Des Plaines P.D.

DES PLAINES, IL — A 26-year-old Des Plaines man was killed early Monday morning after the motorcycle he was driving struck the rear of a semi-truck. Erik Galindo succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident at the intersection of Touhy Avenue and Wolf Road.

According to police, Galindo was driving his 2023 Harley-Davidson eastbound when he struck the truck that was also traveling in the same direction.

Police said the driver of the semi-truck did not report any injuries at the time of the accident.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
