National Night Out Returns Aug. 1 In Arlington Heights

The police department is hosting the free family-friendly event at North School Park.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — If you're looking for some fun family fun next week in Arlington Heights, head on over to North School Park for National Night Out. The free event is planned for 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1 at Eastman and Arlington Heights Road.

The all-ages event is hosted by the Arlington Heights Police Department, who will have officers providing free games, entertainment and safety demonstrations. Joining them for the latter will be the Arlington Heights Fire Department in a mock-car accident response scene.

There will also be opportunities to check out police vehicles, see some police K-9s in action at some demonstrations, and meet your local police officers and firefighters.
