New Owner Upgrades Star Cinema Grill, Changes Name

The 6-screen theater is now called Paragon Arlington Heights, and seats have been updated to recliners with footrests.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A movie theater chain in Florida has purchased Star Cinema Grill in Arlington Town Square and given the venue a new name, according to the Daily Herald.

Now called Paragon Arlington Heights, the six-screen theater also has received some upgrades from its new owner, the report stated. Swivel tables and electric reclining seats with footrests have been added, and the concession offers a variety of new items, including burgers, pizza and chicken fingers, the report added. Movie-goers also will be able to order food from their seats and have it served to them, according to the report.

Tickets are $6 for movies all-day Tuesday, and the theater will hold a kid-friendly screening one Saturday each month that will keep the house lights on and allow children to walk and move around, the Herald reports.
