Nissan Stolen From Golden Brunch Lot: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

An Infiniti was also stolen from a parking garage, according to police.

Colleen M. Brody, 38, is accused of financial institution fraud, three counts of retail theft (motor fuel), and was arrested May 21 at Kohl's, 800 W. Dundee Road. She was released and assigned a court date of July 31.

FIGHTING

Brandon E. Janowicz, 24, is accused of fighting, and was arrested May 18 at Arlington Ale House, 111 W. Campbell St. He was released and assigned a court date of June 11.

BATTERY

Eric Quijano, 36, is accused of battery, and was arrested May 21 at Red Roof Inn, 22 W. Algonquin Road. He was released and assigned a court date of June 24.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Antonio A. Suarez, 21, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested May 19 at W. Northway Highway and W. Euclid Avenue. He was released and assigned a court date of June 4.
  • Mariusz Zdunczyk, 47, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested May 17 in the 2400 block of E. Brandenberry Court. They were released and assigned a court date of June 4.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS

A citizen reported someone stole the rear license plate off their white Ford Transit van between May 13 and May 15 in the 1000 block of S. Fernandez Avenue.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

  • A citizen reported someone stole his blue Infiniti from the third floor of a parking garage in the 20 block of S. Vail Avenue during the overnight hours of May 18.
  • A citizen reported that between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m May 19, a man stole her white Nissan from the parking lot of Golden Brunch, 31 E. Golf Road. He was in his late 20s or early 30s, 5-foot-10, heavy set, wearing a white tank top, gray pants and red shorts.

THEFT

A customer at Portillo's, 806 W. Dundee Road, reported at 12:30 p.m. May 19, she had left her purse on the floor next to the table she ate at and forgot to grab it when she left. When the victim returned, she was told someone took her purse. The person was described as a female, approximately 21 years old, about 5-foot-5, weighing around 115 pounds, with brown shoulder-length curly hair, wearing a white tank top, pink shorts, and gold colored bedazzled flip-flops.
