Nonprofit Arlington Heights Thrift Shop To Give Away Clothes To Homeless
Individuals and families will be able to choose free clothing items during an event Sunday at the store.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A nonprofit thrift store will be giving away clothing to homeless people who come to the store Sunday.
The giveaway will be run from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at Community Threads, 250 W. Rand Road. It is open to individuals and families without residences. Everyone will be given a single large bag to fill with clothing of their choice from the store.
Other clothing items available during the event include coats, scarves, hats and kids clothes.

Commnity Threads is a Christian, volunteer-driven, nonprofit thrift store in Arlington Heights. Along with clothing, the thrift store also offers furniture, housewares, books, games and other items at low prices. The sales go to funding programs that help the homeless, provide scholarships and give training to inner-city youths.
