The center offers partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for adults dealing with conditions like anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder and more, aiming to provide an alternative between weekly therapy and inpatient hospitalization. Leaders say the site was chosen for its accessibility to Arlington Heights and surrounding northwest suburbs.
   

2. Arlington Heights Student Graduates From University Of Rhode Island (patch.com) — Arlington Heights readers can celebrate local student Owen Winfield, who recently graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in finance. His achievement is part of a broader recognition of local academic milestones, as URI awarded thousands of undergraduate and graduate degrees during its May commencement ceremonies.

Pace honors departing board members for decades of service (thelansingjournal.org) — Pace, headquartered in Arlington Heights, just honored 10 departing board members whose 152 combined years of service helped shape suburban bus routes, On Demand options, and new battery-electric buses. Their exit comes as Pace shifts to a new governance structure under the Northern Illinois Transit Authority Act, aiming to keep service reliable, sustainable, and better coordinated for riders across the northwest suburbs.
   

4. Former Philips engineer convicted of stealing X-ray tube trade secrets for Chinese competitor (dotmed.com) — A former Philips engineer has been convicted in a federal trade-secrets case tied to X-ray tube technology, and Arlington Heights resident Vladimir Nevtonenko has already admitted possessing stolen trade secrets in the same investigation. Nevtonenko and another ex-Philips engineer from Aurora are awaiting sentencing later this year, while additional China-based defendants remain fugitives, according to the Justice Department.
   

5. NFL Commissioner: Arlington Heights is still on the table for a new Chicago Bears stadium (fox59.com) — Arlington Heights remains officially "on the table" as NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says the Bears' stadium site here hasn't been ruled out, even as plans focus on Hammond, Indiana. Lawmakers in Illinois and Indiana are still jockeying over funding frameworks that could determine whether the team ultimately builds in Arlington Heights or moves across state lines.
