Quack for a Cause Ducky Dash Supports Camp I Am Me

Camp I Am Me by Illinois Fire Safety Alliance is inviting the community to “quack for a cause” with its new Ducky Dash fundraiser. The unique event will send more than one thousand rubber ducks racing down a waterslide at Great Wolf Lodge Gurnee, with participants adopting their own duck, quack pack, or flock for a chance to win exciting prizes, including a $3,000 grand prize.

But this fundraiser is about much more than rubber ducks and a wild waterslide. Every duck adopted helps support Camp I Am Me’s year-round programs for children, adults, and families affected by burn injuries. Since 1989, the Mount Prospect-based nonprofit has provided safe, supportive and non-judgmental environments where burn survivors can build confidence, develop connections and find a community that understands their journey. Programs are provided at no cost to participants through the generosity of donors, sponsors and volunteers.

The Quack for a Cause Ducky Dash offers a fun and simple way for anyone to make a meaningful difference.
