Person Hit, Killed By Metra Train At Arlington Park: Reports

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a train early Tuesday morning at the Arlington Park Metra Station in Arlington Heights, several reports said. The incident along Metra's Union Pacific Northwest line led to significant delays, the Arlington Heights Police Department said.

Wilke Road was closed at Northwest Highway, and service was stopped for a few hours at the Arlington Park station following the incident.

Just before noon, the line resumed making stops at the station, according to Metra UP-NW updates.
