'A Pop of Local Flavor' Opens at Arlington Heights Historical Museum
A new exhibit titled 'A Pop of Local Flavor: The Sweet Story of Arlington Club,' opens Feb. 1 at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum.

From The Arlington Heights Historical Museum: The Arlington Heights Historical Museum will present a new exhibit titled A Pop of Local Flavor: The Sweet Story of Arlington Club in the Heritage Gallery of the Arlington Heights Historical Museum, 110 W. Fremont St., opening on Wednesday, February 1st with a reception from 6:30- 8:30pm.
Come explore the story of soda pop in Arlington Heights, which started 145 years ago! Follow the growth of production through the story of F.W. Muller, the man behind what we now know of as the Arlington Club Beverage Company. Learn about how the introduction and creation of this fizzy drink had a large impact on Arlington Heights and the Chicago area. After viewing the exhibit, be sure to stop by our gift shop and pick up your own soda to take home and taste!
A reception will be held at the Museum to celebrate this opening on February 1st from 6:30-8:30pm. There will be light refreshments, soda tastings and a chance to be one of the first to see the new exhibit. The Arlington Heights Historical Museum collects and preserves significant materials relating to our past and shares them through educational and recreational activities that promote community heritage and pride.
