ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

  • Manuel E. Bailon Galicia, 25, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 6:49 p.m. Sept. 2, at W. Dundee Road and N. Ridge Avenue. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Oct. 6 was assigned.
  • Jaime E. Figueroa III, 40, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 1:04 a.m. Sept. 4, at a Shell station, 3 W. Algonquin Road. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 29 was assigned.
  • Nilesh Rajaram Powar, 36, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 12:47 a.m. Sept. 2, at Hintz and Schoenbeck roads. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 19 was assigned.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE

A 31-year-old woman is accused of driving on a suspended license, and was arrested at 11:33 p.m. Sept. 2, at Arlington Heights and Oakton roads. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Oct. 16 was assigned.

BATTERY

Princess T. Jackson, 42, is accused of battery, resisting a peace officer, assault, fighting, and was arrested at 9:19 p.m. Sept. 3, at Javier's Sabor Mexicano, 8 W. Miner St. A court date of Nov. 2 was assigned.

FIGHTING

A 38-year-old man was cited at 9:41 p.m. Sept. 3, for fighting at Javier's Sabor Mexicano, 8 W. Miner St. A court date of Oct. 10 was assigned.

RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER

Michael Williams, 42, is accused of resisting a peace officer, assault, fighting, and was arrested at 9:24 p.m. Sept. 3, at Javier's Sabor Mexicano, 8 W. Miner St. A court date of Nov. 2 was assigned.

VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Andrew Preissing, 30, is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested at 9:22 p.m. Sept. 3, in the 100 block of N. Kennicott Avenue. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of Sept. 7 was assigned.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

Daniel A. Runk, 48, had in-state warrants for violation of bail bond, a probation violation, and was arrested at 6:17 p.m. Sept. 5, in the 1900 block of S. Arlington Heights Road. There was no bond.
