Man Who Fled Crash On Foot Located: Arlington Heights P.D.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A suspect, who reportedly fled a crash scene on foot Tuesday afternoon in Arlington Heights, has been located and taken into custody. Police had sent out a social media post at 11:51 a.m. warning residents to avoid the area of White Oak Street and Walnut Avenue, where the search was being conducted.

At around 12:10 p.m., police announced he had been found.

In addition to avoiding the area, residents were being asked to report any suspicious activity.
