The Arlington Heights Commission for Citizens with Disabilities is seeking nominations for its 13th Annual Disability Employment Awareness Award, designed to honor an Arlington Heights employer for proactively hiring and employing workers with disabilities. The award is in conjunction with National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) in October, celebrating its 2021 theme, “America’s Recovery: Powered by Inclusion.”

Nominations may be submitted by community members, employees, or business owners and the deadline to submit is Friday, August 27, 2021. The award will be presented by Mayor Thomas W.
