Unlocked $55K Truck Stolen From Driveway: Arlington Heights PD Blotter
A second vehicle in the driveway was burglarized, but nothing of value was taken, according to police.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

- Vincentzo L. Arnaud, 32, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 11:44 p.m. Aug. 8, at W. Oakton Street and N. Patton Avenue. Bond was set at $1,000 and a court date of Sept. 5 was assigned.
- Cristhian S. Sanchez Lopez, 19, is accused of DUI alcohol, operating a vehicle with no license, and was arrested at 3:36 a.m. Aug. 10, at W. Lake Cook and N. Arlington Heights roads. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 12 was assigned.
- Jennifer E. Yoon, 41, is accused of DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 10:06 p.m. Aug. 9, in the 1400 block of E. Palatine Road. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 12 was assigned.
BATTERY
Princess Jackson, 42, is accused of battery (fighting), and was arrested at 1:04 p.m. Aug. 8, at North School Park, 410 N. Arlington Heights Road. A court date of Sept. 12 was assigned.

DOMESTIC BATTERY
Teko R. Mbacham, 41, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Aug. 7, in the 2400 block of S. Goebbert Road. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of Aug. 29 was assigned.
VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND
Guofu Sun, 58, had an in-state warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 8:15 a.m. Aug. 8, at W. Palatine Road and N. Kennicott Avenue. Bond was set at $3,000.
RETAIL THEFT
Brandon J. Teresi, 31, is accused of retail theft, two counts of resisting a peace officer, and was arrested at 3:56 p.m. Aug. 4, at Jewel, 1860 S. Arlington Heights Road. A court date of Sept. 12 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
- An Arlington Heights Park District employee reported that during the overnight hours of July 30, someone placed fireworks inside a port-a-potty at Heritage Park, 1615 E. Hawthorne St. The interior suffered damage described as charred and melted plastic. No replacement cost was given at the time of the report.
- Residents in the 400 block of Happfield Drive reported that on July 31 and Aug. 2, someone threw rocks at their houses, breaking glass windows. This occurred on separate nights during the overnight hours.
- A Park District employee at Frontier Park, 1933 N. Kennicott Road, reported that during the overnight hours of Aug. 2, a port-a-potty and surrounding fence were partially charred and burnt. The damaged property is valued at $3,500.
STOLEN AUTO
A resident in the 2600 block of N. Wilshire Lane reported that during the overnight hours of Aug. 1, a 2017 Dodge Ram, valued at $55,000, was stolen from their driveway. The vehicle was left unlocked with a key fob inside. A second vehicle in the driveway was burglarized, but nothing of value was taken.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 500 block of E. Seegers Road called police to report that between 8 p.m. and 8:12 p.m. Aug. 1, someone stole his Apple laptop, Apple iPad and $300 from his apartment while he was briefly away at a grocery store.
BURGLARY
A citizen reported that at sometime between mid-July and Aug. 4, someone forced open a lock on their public storage locker at a location in the 1600 block of E. Davis Street. A bicycle, valued at $200, was missing. The bicycle is described as a 1957 blue Schwinn Hollywood.
THEFT
- A citizen, who had been shopping at a store in the 1500 block of N. Dryden Avenue, reported at 10:45 a.m. Aug. 5, they had discovered their phone was missing. The phone, described as an iPhone 12 housed inside a purple case, was valued at $679.
- A customer at a fitness center in the 900 block of W. Dundee Road reported at 7 p.m. Aug. 7, they returned to their locker following a workout and discovered several personal items missing. Among the items stolen were her Apple iPhone (no value given), $50, and several articles of clothing.
- A citizen reported at 2:45 p.m. Aug. 8, they were missing a wallet after shopping at a store in the 100 block of W. Rand Road. Soon after, the victim received notice from their bank that credit cards were accessed without authorization at different locations.
- An employee at a store in the 120 block of W. Wing Street reported that between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Aug. 8, while helping a customer, she placed her iPhone 12 on the counter and soon after realized it was stolen. The phone case has a multicolored floral pattern. It is valued at $1,200.
