Village Board To Reconsider Adult-Use Cannabis Sales July 13

The Board plans to reconsider allowing the sale of adult-use marijuana at its virtual Committee of the Whole meeting Monday night.

Now that adult-use recreational cannabis sales have been legal for six months in Illinois and information is available on the impact that recreational marijuana sales have had on communities allowing them, the Village Board plans to reconsider allowing the sale of adult-use marijuana at its virtual Committee of the Whole meeting held at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 13.

This meeting will be an informal discussion and no final decision will be made at the conclusion of the Committee of the Whole meeting. Members of the public who wish to participate in the virtual meeting can do so by viewing the participation instructions posted on the July 13th agenda that will be found on the Agenda & Minutes page of the Village’s website on Friday afternoon, July 10.
