Yard Waste Collection Rates Change In April

The 2020 Landscape waste collection season is April 2 through December 15. Residents have several options regarding the disposal of landscape waste. Groot offers the per-bag Landscape Sticker Program, the Landscape Waste Subscription Program, or the Landscape Waste/Food Scrap Subscription Program.

Landscape waste stickers will be $2.85 each as part of the 2020 - 2021 contract between the Village and Groot. As part of the Groot contract, residents have the 2:1 bags of leaves program where only one yardwaste sticker is required for every two bags of leaves from October 29 - December 15.

New rates, effective April 1 - March 31, 2021, are $18.33 per month for once-a-week Curbside Service and $25.84 per month for twice-a-week service. For those with Backdoor Service, the cost is $29.58 a month for once-a-week and $42.44 for twice-a-week.
