2 Aurora Men Arrested In Connection To Carjacking: Police
Although arrests have been made, officials said the investigation into the Jan. 22 carjacking remains active.
AURORA, IL — Two Aurora men were arrested and charged in connection to a Jan. 22 carjacking, police said Friday.
The two 21-year-olds, Caleb Tyrell Turner and Diego Cruz-Santos were each charged with one count of vehicular hijacking and vehicular invasion, both felonies.
Police responded around 1:53 p.m. Jan. 22 to a report of a vehicular hijacking in the 1600 block of Maple Park Lane when they found the victim who said their car was stolen by two people.

Later that day, police pulled over a car for a traffic violation and determined the occupants were the ones involved in the earlier incident, officials said.
Turner, of the 1600 block of Linden Park Lane, and Cruz-Santos, of the 300 block of Jackson Street, were detained following a further investigation.
