2 Women Charged In Fourth Street Stabbing: Aurora Police

During a disturbance in the 1200 block of South Fourth Street, the women, 20 and 21, stabbed two other women with knives, police said.

AURORA, IL — Two Aurora women are facing aggravated battery charges following a stabbing Tuesday evening on the city's South Side, officials said.

Brionna Bell, 21, of the 800 block of Symphony Drive, and 20-year-old Trebreh Hammond, of the 1200 block of South Fourth Street, were each charged with the following:

  • Aggravated battery, use of a deadly weapon
  • Aggravated battery, great bodily harm
  • Mob action, use of force or violence

Aurora officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of South Fourth Street around 5:35 p.m. after receiving a report of two people stabbed. Police learned the offenders were armed with knives and stabbed the victims, Aurora residents ages 21 and 41, after a "disturbance" in front of a residence.

Both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The community was asked to avoid the area while a large police presence was on the scene investigating.
