The boy who started the fire will have to attend special fire safety training with the fire department.

AURORA, IL --- An elementary school in Aurora was evacuated Tuesday after an 8-year-old reportedly started a fire in the boys' bathroom. Firefighters and police got the call just before 11 a.m. after smoke was seen coming from the bathroom, Chicago Tribune reports.
Police say no one was injured in the bathroom blaze, but that the school sustained roughly $20,000 in damage.
Students were transferred to nearby Jefferson Middle School for the remainder of the day and after school activities were canceled after the fire. The student who started the fire will be required to go through special fire safety training with the Aurora Fire Department.
