Staff members and teachers from Aurora Christian jumped in with two-feet to raise funds for their school.

North Aurora| Staff members and teachers from Aurora Christian jumped in with two-feet to raise funds for their school.

Several teachers volunteered behind the counter and throughout the restaurant on Tuesday, October 15th at the McDonald's located at 190 Hansen Blvd. in North Aurora. The teachers also sold delicious apple pies and presented food at the drive-thru.

Mrs. Behrens wore an Apple Pie costume nearly the entire three hours while and Mrs. Rogers alongside her sold the pies, the school sold 99 delicious apple pies to hungry customers during the event. The 99 pies sold were donated by Owner-Operator John Lardas. All pies proceeds were donated to the school as well as 15% of the school food sales during this FUNdraising Event.
