Aurora Cops Chase Down Person With Weapon, 1 In Custody
Police say the suspect ran inside of a home in the 100 block of Highland Avenue.

AURORA, IL — One person is in custody after police responded to a report of a person with a weapon near Highland Avenue and New York Street in Aurora. Police chased the suspect on foot until the suspect went into a home in the 100 block of Highland Avenue and refused to come out.
Police say the suspect ultimately came out of the home after more cops got to the scene. A special response team then came to the home to make sure no one else was inside.
