Aurora Fire Museum Grant Used for New Seats at Hayloft Theater
The museum will also be opening a Children's Discovery Room in June.

AURORA, IL — The Aurora Regional Fire Museum has been given a $15,692 grant from the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley, which the museum used to purchase new seating for its Hayloft Theater.
The stadium-seating arrangement already has up-to-date audio and visual technology and high-speed internet capabilities. Mark Baum, Board Member, explained that the seating was, “in need of updating to keep up with current and future technologies.”
Over the last year, museum staff have been working toward updating its rentable space in order to invite new visitors into the space. The museum’s desire is to have seating that is not only cost effective and versatile, but also comfortable, stylish and functional.
