Aurora Leaders Want Feedback On Downtown Parking System

The city hired a consulting firm to conduct a parking study to assess how locals use the current system and identify improvements.

AURORA, IL — Aurora leaders want the community's feedback on the current parking system in downtown Aurora.

The city and Walker Consultants are conducting a parking study for the greater downtown area to assess how locals and visitors use the available parking and identify opportunities for improvement.

Part of the planning process includes gathering feedback on business owners, employees, residents and visitors' parking and mobility patterns as well as their attitudes toward parking and transportation-related issues, city officials said.
