Aurora Man, 35, Fatally Shot By Acquaintance: Police
The man died a few hours after police located him suffering from two gunshot wounds, officials said.

AURORA, IL — An Aurora man, 35, died April 12 after he was shot twice in the 400 block of Weston Avenue, police said Monday evening.
Aurora police were dispatched at 3:34 a.m. to the east side of Aurora after receiving a report of a person with a weapon. The preliminary investigation indicates the shooting stemmed from a dispute between the victim and an acquaintance.
Paramedics provided emergency medical attention to the man, who police did not name, before he was brought to Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 7:47 a.m.

The Kane County Coroner's Office conducted an autopsy Monday to confirm the victim's identity and determine the exact cause of death.
Officials said there is no indication of an ongoing threat. The case remains under investigation by the Aurora Police Department.
