Aurora Man Accused Of Punching Man In Kane County Courtroom

Rasheed L. Norman, 27, was indicted on two counts of aggravated battery.

AURORA, IL — An Aurora man has been indicted on two counts of aggravated battery after he allegedly hit another man in the face inside a Kane County courtroom. Rasheed L. Norman, 27, of the 2100 block of Lilac Lane, is accused of hitting the man "unprovoked," causing "bodily harm."

According to Kane County State's Attorney's Office, Norman hit the man while in court on Aug. 26.

If convicted, he faces probation or a sentence of up to five years.
