Aurora Man Kidnapped Woman, Dragged Her To Car: Charges
He is accused of knocking her unconscious, dragging her to his car and confining her inside his home.

AURORA, IL — Police say an Aurora man knocked a woman unconscious, dragged her to his car and confined her inside his home. Edwin Cossio-Rodriguez, 24, has been charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated domestic battery, unlawful restraint and violating an order of protection in connection with the Nov. 23 incident.
According to an Aurora Police Department spokesperson, Paris Lewbel, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of High Street for a disturbance just before 10:15 p.m. Police arrested Cossio-Rodriguez shortly afterward at a home in the 400 block of Watson Street, where a resident let them into the home.
Once inside, officers say they found a woman unconscious. Court documents claim Cossio-Rodriguez knocked the woman out by elbowing her in the face, then dragged her to his car and carried her into his home against her will.
