Aurora Man Charged With Sexually Abusing Woman, 71: Cops

Police say Khamsaume Xayvong, 57, is being held on $1 million bond after the alleged assault.

AURORA, IL — An Aurora man faces multiple felony charges in connection with the sexual assault of a 71-year-old woman Friday evening. Khamsaume Xayvong, 57, of the 700 block of East Benton Street, has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault, aggravated battery and unlawful restraint, police say.

According to the Kane County State's Attorney's Office, Xayvong sexually assaulted the victim around 6 p.m. Friday inside of an Aurora home, injuring her. Police say Xayvong knew the woman prior to the incident.

He is currently being held in Kane County Jail with bond set at $1 million.
